In an interview Thursday with Australia’s “Dan & Maz Show” on 2DayFM, the pop star confessed to recently working on her art skills while topless and listening to Carey. The admission came when Dan asked Spears if she and Carey have been hanging out in Las Vegas. “I haven’t actually,” replied the star. “Our paths just haven’t crossed.”
Spears then went on, “I love Mariah Carey. Still to this day. I was painting in my room. I have an art room, and I just paint on the walls and do all this kind of crazy stuff. I bought her new greatest hits, and her new Infinity record yesterday, and I was just in there with my top off, just like painting and doing all this artsy fartsy stuff.”
“I love her. I just love her voice,” added Spears. Of course, that’s no longer what the hosts were interested in. Dan wondered, “Do you just walk around with your top off in your art room normally? Is that the typical day?” The superstar explained, “In my art room, that’s my place. It’s the best.”
When Maz noted that everyone was now picturing her with topless, Spears laughed and said, “That’s a good way to leave you guys, too. You know, it’s too much information — I apologize!” Earlier in the interview, the singer spoke about potentially collaborating with Katy Perry, and how her sons led to working with Iggy Azalea.
